I just returned from photographing the most amazing event. The birth of a baby Harper.

I have known the mommy, Alisha since she was a toddler. I have photographed her and her family for numerous events throughout the years. The above images are from their pregnancy portrait sitting just a few months ago. I was so excited to be asked to be there for the birth.

It was the most profound experience. Not to mention such an honor and privilege

The calm brave strength of Mommy pushing, Eric (the Daddy) just being there for her and helping in any way he could, the tears of joy on Eric's face when he held his daughter for the first time. And Alisha, never taking her eyes off her newborn girl while they weighed, measured and cleaned her up.

We're still putting on the finishing touches but we are already enjoying the space, the natural light from our french doors, and the commute. Or the lack of one......... The many Faces of Torin.

This was Torin's third session. We have been photographing Torin since birth. I am so loving watching him grow!

head shots for the annual yearbook.

While they usually do a great job for a small yearbook head shot, they often lack the creativity and imagination it takes to photograph each student and capture their personality.

At our studio we take the time to get to know our subjects and mold their session around who they are and what their life is about. It is really important to us that our seniors are happy and having a great time during their time with us. The results are simply really great portraits.
