Last Sunday I was downtown Sacramento shooting a High School Senior from Folsom High. A great place to shoot by the way!! So much urban background!! I stumbled on some steps and next thing I knew, I had a broken pinky toe. Bummer.....but we partied on and kept shooting.
Not 10 minutes later, my camera jams up. Still no problemo.... I am a pro, I have a back up, we still party on and get an awesome shoot. Clients are watching my toe turn black and blue and feeling very sympathetic for me. Me, I am bummed that camera, my extension of my personality and life is broken!!!!!
Take it the camera hospital the following Monday. He says " How long have you had this camera, it sure has some wear and tear on it, the mirror is stuck. No longer reliable, time to repair it and make it a back up." What was a girl to do????
I kissed it goodbye and promised we would see each other again someday and bought the new
Canon 5D Mark 2. Oh my gawd!!! Where have you been all my life. I am in love all over again.
25.5 mega pixels of excellence!
I have had it for only two days, have done 4 shoots with it and I see the difference already.
I have not even got to the video and audio features yet.
My clients will love what they in their pictures even more.
