We have been away from our blog for awhile!

So here is what has been happening at K. Walker Studios!

In 2014 we welcomed grandsons (twins) into the family! As grandparents we are very involved in their lives and enjoy being not for profit day care providers two days a week. While this takes up some time, we are still making beautiful portraits throughout the year.

Coming up this year we are kicking off with an adorable Valentine session.

There are still spaces available so feel free to give us a call to book yours.

We are also involved in a local fundraiser for Courage House! Join us at the Icon Salon in Citrus

Heights.



Next in March we are returning with our baby lamb spring sessions. Stay tuned for the dates!

Santa is on his way starting tomorrow at Starlight Starbright!

This is our 8th annual event with Starlight Starbright in Folsom.  But it is also our 25 anniversary for Santa Fundraising!  

Over the years we have targeted many different organizations to donate our funds too. Every year it is all about the children. 

My accountant says we have reached over $50,000.00 in donations.  That is a lot of smiling kids on Santa's lap!

We hope to see you there this year.  

It is always a good experience for the children. No long lines at the mall. Our Santa is kind, sweet and a very genuine in character! 

And of course our portraits have the perfection that only comes with 25 years worth of experience!

I just returned from photographing the most amazing event. The birth of a baby Harper.

I have known the mommy, Alisha since she was a toddler. I have photographed her and her family for numerous events throughout the years. The above images are from their pregnancy portrait sitting just a few months ago. I was so excited to be asked to be there for the birth.

It was the most profound experience. Not to mention such an honor and privilege

The calm brave strength of Mommy pushing, Eric (the Daddy) just being there for her and helping in any way he could, the tears of joy on Eric's face when he held his daughter for the first time. And Alisha, never taking her eyes off her newborn girl while they weighed, measured and cleaned her up.

Welcome baby Harper Williams. You came in with an attitude. With the parents you have been blessed with, you will have everything you need to make your light shine.
